We will dive deep into how to create freedom and strength in your shoulders, neck and upper back, through the use of focused breath and specific Forrest Inspired poses.
You will safely learn to unlock these habitual tension spots by strengthening and lengthening the key muscles around the joints to create space and ease of movement.
Bringing focus and intelligence to these ‘problem’ areas will help you to glide through your life with grace, poise and freedom and a greater sense of spaciousness; a must for anyone shackled to a desk during the daytime, anyone active but suffering injury and anyone who walks through life with habitual tension in their neck, shoulders and upper back, in fact, ANYONE!
Safe, Intelligent, and Comfortable Backbends

Learn to backbend with ease and freedom, decompress the spine and feel rejuvenated. Whether you are a backbend lover or hater, this is the workshop for you. This workshop is designed for all levels and degrees of flexibility, especially a lack of!
We will use strengthening techniques for the core, legs and bandhas to create a stable and safe base for your backbend practice. And then concentrate on increasing the flexibility of the shoulders, chest, hip flexors and spine to deepen our backbend. We will learn to use our breath and fundamental alignment techniques to achieve a healthy, deep beautiful backbend. We will break down the different components of the backbends and explore safely various variations of these wonderful poses.

A playful and humbling introduction to taking things upside down in your yoga practice. Yoga is a metaphor for life; facing your fears on your mat gives us confidence to face fears in our everyday lives!
Getting upside down can be daunting for fear of falling, so join us for this workshop where we'll practice in a safe supportive way that will set you up to to delve into inversions and move forward in your practice.
Combining elements of core, arm & shoulder strength we'll build you up step by step to give you the confidence needed to get upside down. Options given for ALL levels.

In this workshop we will break down the various stages of jump forward, back and through. We will demystify the technique of those “seemingly unachievable” transitional movements to make them accessible to all. Find greater ease and lightness in your practice, no matter at which stage you are at. Let’s make the impossible possible!
We will learn to find the correct alignment, coordinate core and upper arm strength, shift the weight into the hands, and use the breath and bandhas to assist you in the lift off. Understanding the mechanics of flight, patience, faith and constant practice are the key to
