HATHA RAJA YOGA 1 [HRY1]

This class is designed for those who wish to address their physical health as well as their mental and emotional balance and also for those who are looking to understand the principles of Hatha Raja Yoga. The class works on the physical body with the basic poses (asanas) as well as the psychic part with breathing techniques (pranayama) and a familiarization with the various energetic points (chakras). By focusing on his awareness, giving his complete attention to the breath and surrendering to the here and the now, the student learns to go into the poses with ease, awareness and simplicity. Each class closes with relaxation (savasana) in order to unify body and soul and receive all the benefits from the class.

HATHA RAjA YOGA 2 [HRY2]

This class is for regular practitioners who are able to master basic poses. It begins with breathing exercises designed to work and regulate our breath with different specific techniques (pranayama). Then on to a series of flowing, graceful and dynamic poses with variations that require strength and flexibility. The student learns to go into the poses with ease, awareness and simplicity by giving his complete attention to the breath and surrendering to the here and the now. Each class closes with a deep relaxation (savasana). The design of the class allows you to benefit from all the positive effects of the teaching and soak in the vital energy (prana) so that it is directed towards the specific needs of the body.

DHARMA MITTRA YOGA [DMY]

This class is for regular practitioners who are able to master basic poses. It begins with a focus on the breath and how to direct it (pranayama) with various breathing techniques in order to find our center and practice in full awareness. Then comes a warm up with flow series (Surya and Siva Namaskara) as a preparation for the poses (asanas). This class includes different postures and inversions that require more strength, more flexibility and more body awareness. It closes with relaxation (savasana) so that the body can fully benefit from the teachings, soak in the vital energy (prana) and direct it where it is most needed. This class will be given in English.

 

private class or duo

A private practice is a unique moment and a wonderful way to better understand the poses and improve your technique in order to assimilate their specificities. A one on one can also help beginners wishing to go to a group class to refresh their practice.

Take this opportunity to learn or reacquaint yourself with the basic poses. Do you wish to work on your practice in order to improve it? During a one on one you can focus on the specific aspects that interest you: alignment of the asanas, meditation or breathing exercises. The private practices take place in our studio outside the regular schedule and can be given in French, English, Italian and Spanish.

HATHA FLOW [HF]

Hatha Flow is a class where fluidity meets gracefulness as well as energy which are brought to all levels. Variations and inversions are for all levels. Each class closes with a short relaxation (savasana) in order to unify body and mind.

INVERSION CLASS [INV]

You want to do a headstand, forearm balance or handstand, but you do not know where to start? In this class, we will cover all the bases of inversions. From the positioning of the hands and the correct alignment of the body, through the beneficial use of the breath. You will discover how to activate the muscles and find the right alignment for safe inversions. You will learn all the techniques you need to become an inversion addict ! Some will say farewell to the wall while others will find the posture for the first time with it. In any case, you will have fun upside down
